  1. PS, all channels but 9 have a plan and 90% of the time stick with it. Nine don’t and have never. you would think when Summer hits and repeats are played instead of new eps, that would give Nine 2 months to come up with a plan. starting a new year is like starting fresh, forget the mess that was last year (for 9) and start fresh and fix the problems they had the last year. its May and there has been so many schedule changes, missing shows promised in promos on all 3 channels, and just a terrible programming job. Nine and Gem are for old folks, so why even bother new Big Bang and 2.5 Men on it anymore?! once the newest seasons are over don’t air them again, give it some thought before just airing what ever you want when ever you want!

  2. Not a minute too soon in cancelling the old Top Gear repeats.I got so fed up of them to the point I nowadays watch Winners and Losers as the rest of the other network offerings are either crime shows or factuals.

  3. talk about Big Bang overkill, I’ve lost count how many times its on both 9 and Go every week. not even 11 and 10 played Simpsons that much. but really (and I’ve said this before) Nine should never air comedies, they just don’t work.. especially when they switch it around. Big Bang has now had new eps on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and now Mondays. whats next, is it gonna replace Getaway on thursdays too?! Bleep My Dad says didn’t work, Mike and Molly too so why bother trying to finish of the season when your just gonna take it off again.

what they should have done was air first run comedy eps on 9 and encore it a day later on GO! see which gets more ratings and continue to air new eps on whatever channel it rates better on. if it ends up being Go, then just keep it on go and leave 9 as a ‘testing out’ channel. and while we are speaking of comedies, why air Friends on Gem? theres no other comedy on there now (besides Nanny) that I know of.

but its a good thing they haven’t aired Episodes and Mr Sunshine yet as they wouldn’t rate on 9 anyway, may as well air them on Go or Gem since now 9 sees comedies aren’t popular…on nine anyway. I congratulate Eleven with keeping a consistant schedule. every week the same, quality programming = excellent channel!

  4. @ Brad, I’m also being from Melbourne and I’d prefer Underbelly, I don’t know anyone that is interested in CSI: NY that hasn’t sourced it elsewhere. Atleast with Underbelly it’s an Australia program.

  5. As a long time CSI BY fan, it’s good to see it back in the schedule.
That said the last time they pulled it off air, I sourced it elsewhere.
Will be ineresting to see how it rates.

  6. Well done, Channel Nine! In a mere 3 months you have taken a consistent ratings winner, with which you could almost do no wrong, and you have managed to kill it.

All you had to do was show some respect for the program and some regard for the fans (old and potentially new). All you had to do was play out the new series in correct order without gaps or stuffing it with too many ads. You could have then followed it up with a couple of the specials, and then started showing earlier series (yes, always in the correct order).

This is not 20/20 hindsight. I, and many others on here would have given you this advice beforehand. In fact, we’ve being saying this sort of thing for a while now, along with “give new shows time to build an audience” and “Eddie doesn’t rate outside of Melbourne” but you don’t appear to have been listening. Your shareholders must be furious.

  7. You know when I saw New Big Bang and New Mike and Molly I finally thought yes ch9 has reads the blogs and responded, their Monday night hour of comedy use to rate so well Friends, Frasier etc. Now they are up to there old tricks, start to like a show and then they take it off or keep moving it around, then wonder why the numbers aren’t their.

Glad to see CSI:NY back but I guess we should start a guessing comp for how long.

  8. Bugga!!! I like Mike and Molly. Will it be back? More reps if Big Bang……. I might go on strike. No more channel nine for me. So over their crap!!!!

  9. Damn it, M&M is good and only gets better, I like TBBT but come on Nine!

Not so sad to see re-runs on TG gone, they really need to rest the show on Nine, have re-runs on GO! by all means but one bring back the guys on the main channel when you have something new to show us.

Where is TG US or the long awaited return of the local version. I do know the UK original won’t be back until June in the UK, which is not that far away but will Nine fast track it?
