Exclusive: Blood Brothers producers Playmaker Video will be watching with interest at the ratings for their telemovie which airs tomorrow night, because there is the possibility of more featuring Lisa McCune.
McCune features as Crown Prosecutor Margaret Kennedy, whose name has been altered from the real-life Crown Prosecutor, Margaret Cunneen.
Cunneen was instrumental in leading the case that led to the conviction of Jeffrey Gilham in 2008.
A spokesperson for Playmaker Video told TV Tonight the name had been changed to leave the door open for more stories featuring a fictional ‘Kennedy,’ but stressed there were currently no firm plans, nor any deal involving McCune.
McCune previously appeared in the legal series Marshall Law in 2002.
Blood Brothers is based on the book “Blood Brother: Justice At Last” by Robin Bowles.
It airs at 8:30pm tomorrow night on Nine.
