A man in New York was arrested on Friday for threatening to blow up a local TV station if it kept airing reruns of the Charlie Sheen sitcom.

A man in New York was arrested on Friday for threatening to blow up a local TV station over reruns of Two and a Half Men.

Bronx resident Freddy Caldwell allegedly called WPIX-11 on May 11 and May 23 with threats to blow up the station’s headquarters if it kept airing syndicated reruns of the Charlie Sheen sitcom.

The NY Post reports police charged him with falsely reporting an incident and aggravated harassment.

  1. I dont know whether that was stupid or gutsy. America takes things like this seriously now and iam pretty sure they came on him like a tone of bricks. I guess that is one way of letting your feelings be known about a particular show.

    With any luck she’d agree that the station should in fact be blown up for crimes against humanity..

  3. That’s hilarious. You’re not alone mate with hating the repeats but threatening to blow up the station is something else! Although, there a few people here who wouldn’t mind channel nine being blown up.

  4. Don’t let this man visit Australia as ch9 will be in deep dodo. Great story though…On the other hand why not send ch9 programming dept on one of those ‘team building survival’ courses with him ha ha ha …
