Oprah ready for final show

Today Oprah Winfrey will film the last ever episode of her 25 year talk show.
Executive producer, Sheri Salata, confirmed on Twitter, “We’re ready. She’s ready. :-)”
Just what the episode entails is still being kept under wraps. But how will Winfrey top her “Ultimate Dreams” season with its visit to Australia and star-studded concluding episodes?
Will it involve the White House? Is it time to shoot her into space?
Salata tells USA Today there will be mixed feelings once it’s all over.
“We’ll be toasting up a storm. Probably weeping a bit, holding each other tight. And most definitely feeling a sense of closure for what has been such an unforgettable chapter in all of our lives.”
Australians will know the finale surprise before it airs given it airs tomorrow our time, and not until Friday night here. By then it will be all over news services.
Updated: Access Hollywood reports that at the taping in Chicago, it was a show without celebrities, and features just Oprah sharing her life lessons and revisiting clips from her 25 years.
“This is my love letter to you,” Oprah reportedly said.

I’m glad Sunrise is showing lots of the Oprah show, because I won’t see any at primetime, so at least I know now I can catch it on Sunrise. Thanks Kochy xo
you dont really need to watch them if you saw Sunrise and Today this morning, they both practically repeated the whole thing, over and over and over and over and……..But what else would you expect from such cheap programs? Particulalry today who manage to fill 3 1/2 hours of airtime repeating the same news sport and weather over and over and over and over and over again, then we see the most clicked and newspaper headlines over and over and over and over and over again. In all fairness Im sure our local breakfast shows dont have the budgets of their US counterparts. Thats the way brekky TV should be.
She’ll be back. She likes to be on top or near the top of the most influential people list. It’ll take some years before her OWN network starts to make a real profit and even if she doesn’t spend it, you can just tell she enjoys making 100s of millions of dollars a year.
I bet she comes back with a new show.. based in L.A or something.
Self absorbed, self indulgent and contrived. Three reasons why I won’t endure watching the final episodes.
Oh no !!! Afternoon television will never be the same!!!! What will our afternoons be like without watching Miss Harpo crying about some mundane thing !!???
I just want to know how many regular eps are TEN behind? I know not long ago we were several months behind the US but how is they looking now the final shows are here.
