Dr. Gregory House and his team return to television next Monday night at 9:30pm on TEN.

It returns with “The Dig,” S7E18, one of six more episodes this season.

This is the 150th episode of House, and Olivia Wilde returns as ‘Thirteen.’

Tonight the good doctor leaves the hospital to go in search of his long-lost minion, Thirteen. In true House fashion, his trek ends in a desert with a spud gun.

The series was recently renewed by FOX for an eighth season, tipped by many to be its last.

The return of House would appear to signal a mid year break for Good News Week.

  1. I’ll think this will be my last season with Dr House. It’s getting too ridiculous and impossible to suspend disbelief, as well as too repetitive. I’ll probably watch the remaining episodes for this season and then give it away.

  3. AFL markets look like they missed an episode of GNW due to Monday night football. I’d thought they might have just whacked on a movie.

    Previoulsy they have played GNW another night of the week in place of a drama re-run when this has happened, but all the timeslots were full last week

  5. Agree it is not what it once was. When it ended, it was announced in voiceover as being back on Mon 23rd (PVR is already set, will just need to change the times 🙂 )

    Everything seems to be coming to an end – Spooks, Deadwood and now House

  8. Yes at the end of GNW last week Paul said they were taking a break. It gave me hope that House would be back at 9.30, so it would not clash with Supernatural on me :). Happy with this news. The only reasons I can think of for why they didn’t fasttrack the episodes from the US is Easter, then maybe they weren’t allowed to & had to give us a break (like there was in the US)… I also recall them giving a different date too at the end of the last episode, I thought it was May 24th though, as I remember when I marked it on my calendar it was a different day, but I still put it down as a Monday & presumed I made a mistake. Wouldn’t surprise me if Ten made a mistake, but at least they gave a date though…

  9. Finally! Don’t know why they rested House when they could have fasttracked episodes from America. At least when they did, they gave a date for it’s return unlike some networks. Though why do I seem to recall it was May 26 and not May 23?!
