Returning: The Block

Nine's fourth season of The Block features 4 houses, 8 couples, and begins on June 20th.

Nine took advantage of its big State of Origin audience last night to promote some of its upcoming titles -a smart idea, given numbers have been down of late.

It rolled out shiny promos for Underbelly: Razor, which has been shooting since early April, and The Block.

The Block is to be stripped across 7pm weeknights with 4 adjacent houses in Richmond in Melbourne. Interestingly, there are 8 couples this series.

Nine’s promo saw a giant Moustrap-style boardgame with couples climbing ladders, falling down holes, dodging giant paintbrushes and dice.

As with the very successful first season, the couples appear to be predominantly young and Anglo-Saxon.

Nine is set to launch the fourth season on Monday June 20th.

  1. You have made many fans who have never seen Big Bang Theory in their lives very unhappy with this move Nine.I would rather watch Raj and his mates plus Amy and Penny on BBT than suffer putting up with that irritating Scott Cam.

Even the later 2.5 men repeats just before Charlie Sheen got the boot would be a lot better than same old tired home renovating show.

If I wanted to see home renovating shows I would use 7’s catch up method and watch Better Homes and Gardens seeing i Ccan’t be there due to work schedules to watch the thing.
