Nine’s new trailer for Underbelly: Razor, which premiered during the State of Origin, looks set to capitalise on the success of period dramas this year.
Atmospheric settings are given the Underbelly flair with sexed-up guys and girls and an urban remix of Tainted Love.
Screentime did a great job with the period backdrop of Cloudstreet, so expect big things from this one.

Underbelly razor promo song is by Adele – rolling in the deep 🙂
Does anyone know who the female singer is and what the name of the song is in the underbelly razor promo.
For all those wanting to know who sings this version of Tainted Love, I found it!!
The Tainted Love remix was performed by Noise International, featuring guest vocalist Virginia Lillye-Hoffmann.
Not sure if that will be any help with finding the fulll versin of the song but atleast it kills the “who sings it” curiosity 🙂
i have season two of that show just cant wait to own season 1 now that was a good season just thought that vince guy what a w*nker he is
Hoping it’s more like the original than the followup borefests. As for music nothing wrong with the original!
Footage looks pretty. But please tell me that won’t be the soundtrack.
Does any one knw who sings this version of Tainted love????
This looks fantastic…I think that 20’s gangster feel will guarantee the show ratings gold…..
Looks good no doubt about it. Yes the music was not meant for this show but hey this is 9 we are talking about here. The contents in the trailer look similar to other seasons of Underbelly, Sex, gore, drugs, crime, corruption etc. Not much new their.
loved it, pitty the fool!
Looked quite good. I might be tempted back.
looks amazing. Shame Cloudstreet wont get the same audience numbers as this
What a horrible “Tainted Love” cover, they should of used the surprisingly good Marilyn Manson version.
love it
I had high hopes for this, but the soundtrack killed it for me.
Looks pretty awesome. Is the same main chick from the last one in it too?
