Jack Bauer fans will be able to enjoy 24 all over again when the show replays on ONE next month.

The action series will begin from Series 1 again from 8:30pm Monday July 11th.

There are some excellent seasons of the show (and a few that weren’t so hot too). But it starts with a bang.

The clock starts ticking again….

  1. yeah your right Steven, Ten should have promoted the change on their main channel as well as Eleven to let people know. they promoted the hell out of Eleven for months on Ten, why not one?

    @ dogue – yes this was a Seven show but when a show is axed other channels can pick it up. 7 used to own Fox rights but now 10, 11 and 1 do. thats why it started on 7 when it was first aired so many years ago but now any channel 10 has can air what ever Fox show has finished on 7…… still don’t know why Seven still air That 70s Show and My Name Is Earl though. PS, its also like Family Guy and American Dad being a 7 show and Cleveland Show being a 11 show – all Fox shows from the same creator but on different channels.

  2. A very good show. I think season’s 1,2,5 and 7 were the best. Season 6 was just awful. But I won’t be watchiing the show on again on ONE, I have all the DVD’s of the first 7 seasons & the Blu-ray of season 8.

  3. Ah but at least there is an upside to Kim – just mute the awful acting, but stay for the show – that chick is smoking hot.

    And I agree this is a great show for ONE.

  5. @AMP I think nats comment is actually quite a good one. Alot don’t know that one has changed. I blame a lack of correctly targeted marketing. Yeah the occasional ad or billboard but it has been a week effort. They should relaunch it with a new vigor like they did for 11. Everyone knows 11s direction and slot people think one is crappy second rate sports no one cares about.

    Also, I can’t believe the amount if crap 7two GO! And Gem play. The amount of new stuff produced around the world each year and we get stuff from 10,20 even 30 years ago! I know someone will say cost, but surely the international production companies would rather things shOwn than not at all?

  6. One will have my eyes for this. With eight seasons, it’ll take them just under four years to go through the episodes.

    Maybe they should show double episodes.

  9. I might check out the first 2 or 3 seasons. Lost interest after that.

    @ddd – I agree completely. Tyler took that crown from KB and I’m glad he got lunched. Leila Buchanan from The Event is annoying too.

Nat, your a little behind aren’t you? yes it Was a sports channel but that didn’t work out for them so they turned it into a sports/male channel. they had been playing movies late last year hinting a change to the channel may come and it eventually did. they’ve only just started to play some shows like Sons of Anarchy, now 24 is joining one!

  11. Bloody awesome show. Fits very well with ONE’s revamp with other shows like Sons of Anarchy, Terriers, and other male-skewed programming (although Terriers doesn’t have an airdate yet).

    Seasons 1,3, and 5 were the best I reckon. Season 7 was pretty damn good as well!

    For people who have yet to see it, give it a chance. First few episodes are pretty damn slow but around episode seven or eight of the first season things really kick into gear, and from there the show becomes must-watch TV.

  13. Love 24!!! I’ve watched every single season and loved them all!

    But ONE? I’ve never even watched a single thing on this channel. I always thought it was just a sports channel.

  20. I’m up to season 8 but this is great news nonetheless. Great excuse to give them all a rewatch.

    IIRC, Monday 8.30 was the timselot the show first started in, back in 2002 on Seven. But could be wrong.

  22. Interesting. And in HD I guess? Nice for One. Though 8.30pm is a very plum timeslot. I’d imagine ONE would be happy should it grab around 100-150k.

  24. Oh this is very good, well done ONE! although it does mean the return of television’s most annoying teen Kim Bauer (or did Tyler from V usurp her?). I must also remember to skip that whole season with his evil dad…..
