A spin-off of The Gruen Transfer is coming to ABC1.
Gruen Planet will look at the world of spin from news, marketing and politics.
The idea of more Gruen spin-offs was floated last year, following the success of Gruen Nation during the federal election.
Producer Anita Jacoby from Zapruder’s Other Films let slip with the new title two weeks ago during a MediaWeek interview on SKY Business, when she meant to refer to Gruen Transfer.
Wil Anderson, who will also host Gruen Planet, returns on August 3rd with the original brand.

The real story here is that the Gruen Transfer is returning on August 3. I hadn’t heard anything and I was getting worried. Very glad to hear it’s back in 3 weeks.
