State based editions of 7.30 will be replaced tonight for a special edition of 7.30 which will pay tribute to its three crewmen who died tragically last night following a helicopter crash.
Leigh Sales will host the program that pays tribute to journalist Paul Lockyer, pilot Gary Ticehurst and cameraman John Bean.
It will air on ABC1 tonight.
The ABC has also cancelled plans to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Four Corners at its Ultimo headquarters tonight.

I agree with you Craig about them canceling the celebrations, but those three men were so well known across the ABC and there would be a lot of very upset people who would be just inconsolable. I will certainly be watching this on iview tonight!

After all the hype I missed this one, I know it will probably be on iView but any chance ABC with re-run it, maybe on ABC24?
I don’t know about canceling the celebrations, they should use the occasion to pay tribute to the 3 men and their work.
