Doctor Who fans should turn their sonic screwdrivers towards the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne next month when it hosts a public forum on Dr Who: Tales from the Tardis.
On the panel are Richard Watts (writer and broadcaster), Oscar Hillestrom (Sci Fi Channel blogger), Madeline Palmer (Producer and Programmer for rage on ABC TV and ‘mad Whovian’ blogger), Paul Verhoeven (presenter and pop culture expert) and Adam Richard (comedian, TV and radio personality).
It takes place Thursday 29 September.

Seems pointless when most Who fans and the more intense Whovians tell tales from the Tardis every night on the net! And Thursday night – sorry but didn’t someone tell them that Sci Fi had the Tom Baker years on, starting tomorrow night???
ACMI has a TV forum every month and I’m surprised Who fans aren’t welcoming the love. It’s not supposed to be on the same level as a sci-fi convention, nor is the ticket price.
If it actually featured someone from the cast or actually working on the show, then it would be justified … like all the fan events that happen here throughout the year…
Strange line-up. And on a Thursday night? Could have done better.
Can you imagine the sad sack who takes time to bag out a show for no reason, send cold shivers up and down the spine.
I would go if I were nearby!
That’s just such a strange comment Ben. Because some would say you are a sad sack for reading an internet televison forum. Not me though, I love TV and Doctor Who. I hate judgement though.
So why would i want to go somewhere and pay money to listen to there opinions – no thanks can hear it here and for free 🙂
Adam Richard is the only person of interest on that list … and being a Thursday night is just a pain in the *** ….
Couldn’t think of anything more painful. Can you imagine the sad sacks who would go to something like that. Sends cold shivers up and down the spine.
