Oops. Project Runway Australia skips elimination

Project Runway Australia viewers missed out on seeing the crucial elimination segment on Monday night.

Due to technical difficulties Project Runway Australia viewers missed out on seeing the crucial elimination segment last night when the show went from showing designs to the promo for next week.

In a statement, Foxtel said, “Arena TV apologies for any confusion, disappointment or inconvenience caused by this mistake.

“The full episode will air today at 1pm and again on Saturday August 20th at 9:30pm, Sunday August 21st at 5:30pm, and Monday August 22nd at 7:30pm.

“The segment of the program that was missed can also be seen on the Arena website  and Project Runway Australia facebook page

  1. Like Lillyvon I too do not like Alex Perry, do not mind Megan Gale though.

But then I doubt we shall watch the programme again after seeing
the sloppy Final. What a joke, the winner should have been
    Craig by miles!

  2. Massive hours of Programming scheduled.
1 person looking after multiple channels, including on-air.
Less checks in place than FTA.
These things can happen on occassion.

and the 2 hr delay is a straight 2 hour delay…there is nothing that can be done to fix any errors. Goes in a server and pops out 2 hours later like magic.

  3. I personally do not mind Megan Gale – she is no worse or better than the previous hosts. Who annoys me is Alex Perry. He does not have the warmth or helpful advice of Henry, who was just lovely. In such a bitchy cut throat type show – Henry was a ray of light. Perry is a sludge of puffy faced posing!

  4. Megan Gale is certainly not a host, she just doesn’t have an air of authority about her and her voice is woeful. Hel-lo dasarners. Alex Perry has no sense of fun or sympathy with the contestants. It’s such a shame because this was one show my daughter and I enjoyed watching together. And the dasarners are just awful. On a brighter note, we’re enjoying top model. Go figure.

  5. What a stupid marketing stunt.

Do they seriously believe they can fool people into believing this was a “technical difficulty” which somehow edited out the crucial bit only? Here’s a hint for the producers: Your audience isn’t as thick and wooden as your host.

  6. Yeah that had me scratching my head too. I thought I was still under the influence from the weekend.

The silly thing is I IQ’d the same episode on Arena 2 and it still wasn’t corrected. Obviously with these ‘plus 2’ channels someone in control isn’t present.. it’s as if they just press play and clock off for the night

  7. doesn’t matter? really?…so you reckon cut the last 5 mins of any program & just run the next week promo instead. be a good way to get viewers investing in programs like masterchef or the block do you think?
