  1. Hey guys, how can you pan something you haven’t seen yet?????? And yes Foxtel has to advertise, how else can they let the public know.??? (der David) I think it has whet my appetite enough to actually want to see the show. Have you checked the interactive website out? Looks amazing. I say Good on you. Foxtel for being so adventurous and creative. Give it a chance!

  2. Looks just like Skins but bad. Also, Brisbane is not at all how the ads portray it, I am 17 like these kids and I don’t know anyone who has ever heard of a party like the ones in the commercials happening in Brisbane, especially not for teenagers. If it wanted to portray kids living in a happening city with lots of parties and such they should have set it in Sydney or Melbourne. It’s great that Australia is doing a series, but seriously, try and create something a bit more original and realistic.

  3. Agree with David0 – getting very sick of this show already and it hasn’t even started … way too many ads for it on Foxtel, and all these “group of teenagers” shows all look the same to me … load of rubbish. Five seventeen-year-olds? Uh huh, sure – believable casting right there 🙂

  4. Give it a chance guys! When do we ever produce an Australian TV series? I’m not saying it doesn’t look like a Skins rip but that’s what teenagers like, and these guys get that. How about you ll watch it before you shit all over it. And for gods sake have some pride in your nations film industry. Poor things already got enough bad publicity to last our life times.

  5. I gotta be honest, I’m getting sick of hearing about it. The advertising for it on Foxtel is overkill. Almost every ad break features Slide – overselling the series could kill it stone dead before it even starts.

  6. I know one of the girls who was an extra on this show!

It has been said before many times but this looks like Skins: Australia.
That isn’t such a bad thing!! Skins is a great series.
