Hot Seat is doing another cross-promotional episode on Monday night October 3rd, as the six farmers from The Farmer Wants a Wife compete for $1m for a charity of their choice.
It follows on from a recent episode with contestants on The Block, and it’s a strategy Seven has used on Deal or No Deal.
Naturally the episode will air just ahead of the dating show’s season finale.
At 40 minutes length, the show will begin at the earlier time of 5:20pm.
Just hours before their search for love draws to a close, with the finale of The Farmer Wants a Wife on air at 7.00pm Monday, October 3, host Eddie McGuire will ask the tough questions as the boys from the bush put their brains to the test in the name of charity on Millionaire Hot Seat.
The farmers have had to make some tough decisions in their quest for romance, but things will really heat up for these rural Romeos as they face off to determine who is the brightest of the bunch and who is a few sheep short of a flock.
Each playing for a charity close to their hearts, the country boys will all be hoping to win the top prize. Farmer Kev will be playing for Beyond Blue, Farmer Trent wants to win some cash for CanTeen, and Farmer Will plans to donate any winnings to Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Farmer Frank will be representing the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Farmer Tim is playing for World Vision Australia’s East Africa Emergency Appeal, and Farmer John hopes to win the million for Cancer Council Australia.
With their eyes firmly on the top prize, can one of the farmers follow his heart to $1 million?

Crikeys!! This show is still around??? I stopped watching ages again….I refuse to watch anything that the conceited Eddie “Every Show You see On Nine And I’m on It” Mcguire is on……
I like hot seat.. and Eddie does it well IMHO
@ Kenny, thanks I had no idea I could access these channels!
@Nik C – You get NBN Newcastle on the Gold Coast. Channel 54 Currumbin, Channels 67 & 68 Mt. Tambourine, Channel 68 Springbrook. They carry Hot Seat at 5:30pm
Ugh!
I see his mug on a giant billboard on the M1 and i wanna vommit. How desperate are they at 9? I love how they build the fake tension. “Can one of the farmer follow his heart to $1?”. I spose Ethyl, Mearle and Judy, from up bush will find out! They are they peopel that watch this shite right? the over 75 country sheila? the abundance of tampon and diet coke adds would have u think, young women and gays watch it. I am surrounded by young women and gays and can tell you none of them watch it. Gutter 9
Enough with Eddie Everywhere. This is the man responsible for the overdoses of Big Bang Theory and Underbelly amongst other things they show To His Credit He got that Top Gear Australia Axed from his 9 Network
Eddie did sign first season of UB. Was a huge success. But as he hasn’t been CEO for many years, let alone ever being a Progammer, so it’s a bit harsh to blame him for “overdoses” of TBBT. I agree he has been used on too many vehicles this year, but Hot Seat is the one that works and at the moment he actually isn’t “everywhere” on TV. Where else are you seeing him?
First the Block, now Farmer. Enough with the cross-promotions, Nine.
shoot me now
I still wish the Gold Coast got this, just for the quiz questions!
Why don’t we get to see Hot Seat?
Zzzzzzzzzzz.
