  1. I’m so glad Ten has decided to fast track Hawaii Five 0 because that means it will air only a week behind the US episode, plus as others have already mention only time will tell about moving it from Sunday to Wednesday nights but at this stage I’m thinking it’s a good move.

  2. Probably a bad move by TEN to move Five-0 out of its Sunday 8:30 slot, but time will tell. Thankfully, all three aforementioned shows are procedurals, but I can hear the bitching and moaning and crying from fans in early November when American sweeps occur and the occasional repeat comes in already. It’s a pity most don’t understand that these shows serve American markets, not Australian markets, which is why I’ve always believed we should begin a season 2 weeks after it starts in the US, to counter the sweeps.

This will become more prevalent when they air more serialized shows, like the Good Wife or Grey’s Anatomy.

Personally, i’m jazzed about Terra Nova and Persons of Interest, however due to that T word noone is allowed to mention on the forum, I will only be watching Prime Suspect (that Maria Bello show) and Charlie’s Angels on TV.

  3. H50 should have stayed on Sundays, its now clashing with Sons of Anarchy and Cleveland so I won’t be watching… I prefer to watch those shows so thanks Ten! Im sure they’ll stick with that slot though, unlike Blue Bloods. speaking of, if its not going to go to One Im guessing summer perhaps?

  4. NCIS has stayed in that same time slot for years now… when will Networks get the hint that stable programming is just as essential as anything else on offer?

  5. @Michael – HD, SD I don’t care as long as I have a clear picture! I’m getting sick of people whinging on about not being able to watch things in HD. Be grateful if you have a clear unpixellated picture with no sound drop outs. Even in Sydney, a major metro area, reception is the pits sometimes!

  6. I’d love to see DInozzo killed off , that would be a real treat for me , hes a tool , yes its acting i know but still it aint a bad thought.I do look forward to the new series though regardless.
@JB , i agree alot of the longer running shows including NCIS are getting a tad long in the tooth.

  7. @alvar, i’m glad you’re not in charge of Ten programming. Good on Ten for fast-tracking. I think NCIS has really dropped off the last few seasons, but i keep watching, and love Hawaii Five-O so can’t wait

  8. First Nine and now Ten. Has it really taken the abysmal performance ratings-wise of both networks for them to see the value in fast-tracking series, or is this just another almost randomly selected tactic to try and claw back some audience share?

Don’t get me wrong, I think that it’s great that they’ve adopted this strategy, and I hope they continue with it. I just wonder why it’s taken them this long to either grasp the benefits or get around to actually implementing it.

At the risk of sounding like Oliver Twist – Dear Nine/Go!, Fringe S4 *pretty please*. Wed 28 Sep at 8:30 is available!

  9. What about White Collar on 10, seems to have been forgotton, the season did’nt finish, no point watching these great shows if they can just stop airing them when they want too ****************

  10. Nine and Ten are really going out with fast tracking their new shows and older ones. As they both get the best shows from the US via Warner Bros, Sony, CBS and Fox. Going to have to record stuff to avoid clashes. Tuesday will be a big night with NCIS, NCIS:LA, United States of Tara, Charlie’s Angels, 2 1/2 Men, Joy of Sets, Renovators and Rafters.

  11. should have saved the NCIS franchise for next year, repeats are tracking well enough. Ten have already lost this year, they need to save the new episodes for next year. And ten still haven’t given up on hawaii five o yet???
