Seven returns its paranormal reality series The One to screens next week, the second time the fomat has aired.
It will again pit a line-up of determined psychics against one another via a series of challenges, with two experts -a believer and a sceptic- on hand to assess them.
Once again the psychics are also asked to predict who will win the show. Can they predict the ratings too?
This is a show for true believers.
Watch for the moment when Andrew Daddo admits, “I’m not the smartest Daddo in the shed.”
Do we live in a world where psychics can help solve crimes, investigate some of Australia’s most compelling mysteries or even diagnose illness? Prepare yourself for the unthinkable as ‘The One’ will suspend disbelief and send chills down your spine. Each week, ten of Australia’s top psychics will showcase their abilities in a series of studio and location challenges, such as finding a thief on a crowded train, or solving a real unpublicised murder. The One’s expert panel, metaphysicist Stacey Demarco and sceptic Richard Saunders, will decide who stays and who goes until the final episode, when Australia will decide which of the remaining three psychics is ‘The One’.
7:30pm Wednesday October 5th on Seven.

please get rid of this tv show. its a scam or put this boring tv show on seven two
I thought this show wouldnt survived? What was the average number on its last series?
My Dad actually knows Stacey Demarco and she knows her stuff…
That picture is hilarious, the look on his face screams: ‘I can’t believe I’m hosting this cr@p’
I thought the first series was above average.
Hey – if the religious are allowed to spout their mumbo-jumbo on TV then so should the equally delusional psychics. Either way, I won’t be watching.
It was 2008 actually.
The first series was in 2007, not 2009 . Andrew Daddo does the voice over for Nine’s RBT aswell.
Why are they allowed to screen this charlatan BS?
I’m guessing was Daddo was getting sick of doing nothing but Zoot reviews.
What a load of crap – I’m hoping this bombs but it will probably end up being a hit. The last series in 2009 rated fairly consistently.
What do they have as competition? Big Bang Theory and The Renovators?
Is this going to have mass appeal? I am not convinced. Could struggle
I see Andrew Daddo returns to Seven following the ill fated ‘this Afternoon’ show on Nine. I think he was still contracted for about 10 months after the show was cancelled
