PM Julia Gillard may be down in the polls but she is currently leading a vote by the kids of Australia to be slimed at this year’s Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Gillard has 58% of votes over Opposition Leader Tony Abbott on 42%, in the race to be the honorary ‘Slime Minister.’
The ‘winner’ will be invited to be slimed on stage at this year’s sellout event at The Sydney Entertainment Centre on Friday October 7.
Maybe if she wins and declines the invitation they can get Amanda Bishop to be slimed instead?
Voting for the awards closes on September 25.
The PM has also filmed an appearance for Junior MasterChef.

@tmorgan The Mad Abbott makes me cringe more.
Bob Brown isn’t even in the race.
