Airdate: Dual Suspects

Next Monday night Seven premieres true crime docu-drama Dual Suspects.

Produced in Canada, the series includes news footage, interviews, and re-enactments of profile crime cases. Seven begins with “Murder Italian Style” which looks at the Amanda Knox case (has it gone away yet?).

Narrated by Jacqueline Bynon, this appears to be an episode which aired in April in the US.

Follow the story surrounding the controversial Amanda Knox trial. During 2007, in an Italian medieval town named Perugia, British exchange student, Meredith Kercher, was found dead in her room, in what looked like a stage break-in attempted to mask the crime. Her half-naked body was found surrounded by blood and her throat  slashed. As the university town filled with students began to panic, the police were under the gun to solve this murder, and solve it fast. Follow the case that lead to three people, including Knox, Knox’s former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, and local small-time drug dealer Rudy Guede, being convicted of Meredith’s murder. But were they all actually guilty?
