Ringer, the new thriller starring Sarah Michelle Geller, starts on TEN next Sunday night.

The CW series will follow Terra Nova at 9:30pm, putting it against Nine’s fast-tracked Person of Interest.

It will air nearly a month after its US premiere.

On the run from the mob, Bridget assumes the identity of her deceased twin sister, Siobhan, only to realize that her sister’s life was no less complicated than hers.

  3. Completely agree with MuchoTB. I’ve seen the first 3 episodes, but I absolute love it and will be watching them again. Every week they get better and better.

  4. Its true sci-fi does not rate well here. Lost, Heroes, BSG, V and others all ended up in 10:30 time slots or digital channels. And the start of Terra Nova is nowhere close to the quality of the first two shows. They may start out with big numbers, but they always fade away, because people have to concentrate and also that they are serialised shows, you have to watch every episode, not like cop procedurals.

    To those saying that sci-fi doesn’t rate well here, Sarah’s last hit Buffy rated very well here on FTA and FOX8 from memory, or at least certainly had a huge following down under.

    Glad ten is giving this show Sunday night though I am a little surprised.

  7. I liked Ringer, not too sure it will rate well though, so don’t think i’ll bother with Ten cos it will probably get moved after 3 weeks anyway. Terra Nova looks great, but again I think it will rate well to start but then drop. Sci fi just doesn’t rate well here.

  9. @Craig The rest of the F1 races will be shown in Australia in the early evening for the last Asian leg of the season or after 11pm EST when it hits Abu Dhabi. The Brazilian Grand Prix will take place after midnight.

    Hopefully Ringer will be able to rate respectfully. It’s a good series.

  10. I think calling this show a thriller is a bit of a stretch, it really is just a primetime soap. Pilot was promising, but the rest is as cliche as they come.

  11. I’ve seen the first three episodes and this is a pretty damn good series. Episode three was the best so far, and it is getting better every week.

  12. @Jason – the hair style in the pic is a trick (Photoshop) the show is about twin sister, they used a different hair style in the reflection.

    The only problem I have with Sunday nights is when the F1 is on, lucky the season is almost over. Or if there is a good movie on Showtime/MovieONE, but the movie can always be watched later with the encore airings. Wish FTA would encore more shows on their HD channels, like the BBC does in the UK.

  13. I guess it depends what’s on the ABC also if Seven decides to fast track Castle if I watch it or not. But as a timeslot if Castle is there then I won’t be watching Ringer especially if there’s new episodes of Castle.
