ABC (US) has clipped the wings of Charlie’s Angels, after just four episodes.
The reboot featuring Rachael Taylor had a minor increase in its ratings in the US this week but not enough to spare it from the inevitable. While it premiered to 8.7 million viewers it had slipped to a 1.2 rating in its demo, managing 1.3 this week.
Sony TV has shot a total of 8 episodes, including the pilot.
Despite being fast-tracked, after lacklustre ratings in Australia the show was also sent from Nine to GO!

Yes, hopefully Minka Kelly will now return to Parenthood.
Even before the pilot premiered, the outcome was inevitable for this show.

Just notice that next Tuesday the Angels will be on GO! at 7:30, followed but the 2nd movie, Full Throttle. Are they trying to tell us something?
8 eps huh, just like the Bionic Woman remake. but at least they were able to air more than 4 eps.

I haven’t seen this but the impression I have is, like the Knight Rider remake. That they just go, “oh hey lets remake this.” Then don’t actually put any real thought or effort into it.
Good riddance to an execrable piece of television. This turd wasn’t even polished.
Looking forward to a soulless remake of The Mod Squad next…

I just had a mental flash back to the pilot episode with Rachael sobbing “I never knew my heart could hurt this much!!”…
Somehow I think Drew Barrymore has something to answer for. She’s gone from a brilliant movie actress…. to a so so film director… to a terrible television producer. Seriously what is going on there??
Just goes to show 70’s shows were better.
Yay! Now Rachael can head back to Gray’s Anatomy, where she was Great!
It wasn’t very good, the way the scenes were edited and the script/storyline work overall put me off. When i found out who was behind the reboot i wasn’t surprised…. Smallville’s formula got tiring for much of the same reason for me. I hope they don’t consider making a new Love Boat or I Dream of Jeannie next.

Reading some of the responses you can understand whey it didn’t work, they took a good premise and screwed with it too much.
