Grimm: sneak peek

You've seen Once Upon a Time, now here's is a look at NBC's Grimm.

Looks like fairytales will be all the rage next year -assuming these shows make it to a full-season pick-up.

Having already posted a clip on Once Upon a Time, here is a look at NBC’s Grimm in which Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovers that he is a descendent of the “Grimms,” people who keep the balance between humanity and mythical creatures.

Creators David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf were also producers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X Files and Angel.

A familiar face in this clip is executive producer Sean Hayes (Will and Grace).

  1. It is distributed by universal meaning it is 7s to either air themselves or sell to foxtel. I think they’d be wise to sell it and make it foxtels problem.

  2. Looks like another great show from the 2011 Autumn season. Hopefully NBC give it a go seems though the likes of ABC drop sci-fi shows as soon as the ratings start to drop (e.g. Defying Gravity, The Gates, No Ordinary Family). David do you know who has the Australia rights? If FX launches in the next couple of months maybe they will be going after it as it looks like it would compliment The Walking Dead that Foxtel have already said will air on the channel.

  3. The sneak peak looks good so “fingers crossed”. Not sure whether it’ll have mass appeal either but don’t know whether any of the commercials would purchase this just to play on one of their multis (prob will be too expensive). Maybe 9:30 on a main channel would be a good compromise.

  4. Unless it changes Grimm is scheduled to be against Fringe and Supernatural in the U.S. so the future for the series might live up to its name. I hope it airs here during a more sensible timeslot maybe on a secondary channel. Who has the rights in Australia?
