Just a day after Network TEN confirmed the axing of 6:30 with George Negus, a story could not be aired in full in Tasmania.
On Thursday night viewers in the island state were subjected to a graphic that read “6:30 with George Negus will return at the conclusion of this story. Due to legal reasons the vision of this story can not be broadcast.”
The story involved an under age person from Tasmania sexually assaulting a child. While vision was blocked by local broadcaster TDT, audio was played however.

Reminds of me of Underbelly being banned in Victoria. How ludicrous in this day and age when information can be gained at any point in time by anyone
At least we know people in Tas are watching Negus…
Don’t you love our stupid State laws that protect sexual or general criminals in the name of protecting children? Which they don’t do because they can’t see what the criminals look like. What a joke our country is. A sexual predators paradise due to our stupid laws.
How very odd…i’ve never seen that happen before
Very few people would have seen it.
