  1. really Dave? Downton Abbey promos were bad???? Ratings tell the complete opposite story I’m afraid. Opinions are subjective – the ratings for the first 15mins are not. Those promos made viewers turn on Downton Abbey in droves. And they stayed watching.

Promax is rrelevant to you Jezza but a lot of us regulars on TV Tonite are industry people and we do care. It means something to us as I’m sure your company or industry awards mean something to you. I worked my arse off in a promo that won gold and I stand proud that my peers and colleagues recognise that it was good work. Promax has nothing to do with viewers whatsoever – nor should it – it’s about recognition amongst peers. And I for one am proud of my colleagues and am happy to give them a pat on the back when they do a good job.

  2. Even the ABC’s Branding design is a co-production!
Those guys can’t even steal Channel 9’s Christmas bubbles without outside help.
Sad reflection on an industry sorely lacking creative thinking.

  3. So everyone is up themselves and the rest of the world does not give a toss about this irrelevance.

The only time I take note of a promo is when they promise something great and deliver a load of crap….not exactly a positive….
