RocKwiz: sneak peek

When Suzi Quatro made a surprise appearance on the SBS music trivia show the audience and the panel couldn't quite believe they were about to meet rock royalty.

As previously reported, tonight on RocKwiz the original leather rock chick Suzi Quatro makes a surprise appearance. Sometimes known as ‘Leather Tuscadero….’

Judging by this clip, even the audience member on the panel couldn’t quite believe she was about to meet rock royalty.

Chris Cheney from The Living End also appears.

9:30pm Saturday on SBS ONE.

  1. Samantha it was Chris Cheney from the Living End. I thought the RocKwiz gang missed an opportunity – here were two people with great guitar skills and they had them do Stumblin In. It was cute but it could have been awesome. I think his earlier performance with Chrissie made better use of Cheney’s talents.

  2. Could somebody please tell me the guy who sand the song “heatwave”?? who is he & what is the correct name of the song he sang?? I loved it, but only saw him sing this song..

  3. This was amazing night. I was on such a high after the show, that when my partner and I got home, after our hour and fifteen minute drive, I could Not fall asleep. Finally at 4am in the morning, sleep hit me, but I was still pinching myslef, that my first Live Rockwiz experience was with my all time favourtie singer, Suzi Quatro. The crowd was Wild for her, the teaming of her and Chris Cheney was awesome, and the taping I beleive went longer than the norm, and I am sure we all could of stayed for many hours, with Suzi and the Rockwiz gang.

  4. Great to see David Knox and TV Tonight publicising the return of new episodes of Rockwiz, particularly in the absence of any kind of marketing support from SBS. If the only news that comes out from your netwrok is that you cannot afford to proceed with a high budget drama Dusty (by the way who even picked it up for development in the first place when SBS has essentially fully funded all their Australian drama?) and since you’ve got no money to commission new shows, why don’t you support a little gem like RocKwiz that delivers year after year? What is going on inside SBS?
