Shine Australia appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Shine Australia has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer, by promoting its Commercial Director Tim Robinson.

Shine Australia has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer, Australia and New Zealand, in Tim Robinson who joined last October as its Commercial Director.

Robinson was previously Shine Group’s Commercial Director, Europe, which he held concurrently with the interim role of deputy CEO of the Metronome Group, part of Shine’s Nordic companies.

He specialised in the music business at entertainment law firm, Sheridans, in London, was director of business and legal affairs and acting managing director of Celador International (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?) and took on a corporate development role with 2waytraffic.

As COO of Shine Australia he will provide operational, strategic and commercial direction and oversee the company’s HR, business affairs, business development and financial functions.

“After an amazing first year at Shine Australia, I am delighted and honoured to be promoted to the role of COO just as the company is poised to move to the next stage of its exciting evolution,” he said.

His new role commences immediately.
