Amazing Race detour

Heads up. Seven's scheduling creates a little Detour for The Amazing Race.

As Phil Keoghan says, “A Detour is a task, each with its own pros and cons.”

And fans of The Amazing Race may need their own cluebox if they want to stay on top of their show over the next few weeks.

It will be screening in 3 different timeslots.

The problem arises because the 8:30 show will be moving to 7:30 for summer -but first there is a supersized Beauty and the Geek finale to work around.

As a result the schedule for TAR looks like this:

Thursday November 17: 8:30pm
Thursday November 24: 9:30pm
Thursday December 1: 7:30pm

Last person to check in probably didn’t read the clue….

  1. Why ch7 keeps changing???? Really sucks!!! 8.30 9.30 or 10.30 to avoid clash with other chanels or recording ….or change to different days with less popular programs.

  2. And this is why I stopped watching it on Seven when they first moved it to 8.30. Should have always been 7.30. 9.30 did work cos it only clashed with Crownies which I could record. But then they moved it and it clashed with Rush and The Slap so I gave up on Seven. And now this crap.

I try to do the right thing by those networks that do the right thing by fasttracking shows, but when they do stuff like this, and Ten with NCIS tonight, and Ten’s continual shuffling around of Modern Family and Glee, then sorry I won’t watch on your network.

  3. Why are you doing this 7? Moving things around for no reason is 10’s job.
Go Bill & Kathy! (Who’s voice sounds so much like Kitty from That 70’s Show).

  4. I dont care as long as Cathy and Bill keep making it week after week, i always go for the undordog or the old couple in this show. And Cathy is having so mun fun!

  5. It’s a mistake putting it on after BATG to begin with – TAR is much more of a family-friendly 7:30pm show, and BATG goes for the perve ratings that it could get more of at 8:30.

Still, it’s not like TAR fans aren’t used to this crap by now. It’s no wonder the ratings aren’t great when Seven treats the show so poorly.
