Gone: Kill Arman, South Park.

SBS has suddenly dropped two of its Monday night shows to be replaced with repeats of Man vs Wild.

SBS has suddenly dropped two of its Monday night shows: Kill Arman and South Park.

Kill Arman premiered last week to 151,000 with South Park on 137,000. This week they dropped to 82,000 and 76,000.

SBS will replace them with repeats of Man vs Wild from Monday.

It’s not likely to please the remaining South Park fans who are already fed up with the show being delayed for months, with episodes suspended, and now removed from schedule.

  1. Bad form SBS. Kill Araman was a great show. Had the DVD on order after watching the first 2 episodes but looks like it’s made by SBS so I canceled my order.

  2. Now you killed Arman off TV….I hardly ever watch TV as there is always too many ads…now you take one of the only shows I like off TV…so you wonder why people go downloading things???????

  3. Kill Kill Arman and keep William Shatner!?! Kill Arman was an extremely interesting show for anyone studying Martial Arts, shame SBS basing decisions on ratings!
How many bears could Bear Grylls grill, if Bear Grylls could grill bears! As for South Park – it’s all over now. SBS new shows, interesting topics Please!

  4. Kill Arman is an awesome show! Maybe if they stopped showing friggin’ ads every 2 mins for 3/4 minutes at a time people would be more inclined to get into the show and what it has to offer,

  5. No way…. My 11 yo and 9 yo who are studying karate love this show. It was really interesting and we watched all together. Who wants to see bear pretend to be in grave danger Again! This show has a huge cult following overseas and brought us to sbs when we otherwise watch commercial tv!!!

  6. kill arman was really cool I loved meeting the masters and seeing the practices, could we see it on SBS2 sometime, anytime, give it a go to catch on please SBS

  7. What the hell SBS? Monday was a low rating night anyway wasn’t it? People taking a long weekend for the Melbourne Cup? Of course ratings would have been down then. They could at least move it… never would have thought SBS would be one to pull new shows off air without notice >.>

  8. Good riddence to South Park being taken off the air!! Justice has finally being served!!! This show is just so rude, offensive and racist. Congratulations SBS – a job well done!!

  9. They never got around to screening the rest of The Ricky Gervais Show either. Let’s hope they use that Monday 10pm slot for these shows when Housos finishes. On the plus side, I’m enjoying all those old South Park episodes late Friday & Saturday nights… Because I have no social life. :/

  10. It used to rate high last Decade South Park when it was paired with Drawn Together now they have all this Swift and Shift,Pizza rubbish on with it.Good thing is I now work Mondays so not missing much.

  11. Low rating channels will always be better off putting their premium ro new content on nights with less competition from the big 3 or 4 – as these shows will never rate well otherwise. Still don’t understand why programming is in such a way at times, that some nights there is too much to watch between all the digital and main channels, and other nights absolutely nothing over 15 channels.

Best to spread the new and premium content around.

  12. Monday is usually a busy night anyway. I was watching but more stuff kept airing on mondays so I had to give South Park up and I missed last weeks ep due to Supernatural and Burn Notice being on but at least now I don’t have to worry about missing more eps. Im sure it’ll return either during summer or in February.
