MasterChef pin-up boy Hayden Quinn has his first post-series TV role as a beach side commentator for TEN’s IronMan Series.
He joins hosts Nicole Livingstone and Mark Howard, and commentators Guy Leech and Trevor Hendy.
Head of Sport, David Barham said: “We are thrilled to welcome Hayden to the commentary team for the 2011/12 series.
“His easy going nature, charisma and accessibility teamed with his experience as a professional lifeguard makes him the perfect addition to the IronMan commentary team.”
Quinn, who has been a professional lifeguard for the past seven years added, “This is a wonderful opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to working with such a great group of people including IronMan legends Guy Leech and Trevor Hendy.
“Surf Life Saving is what I know and being a part of TEN’s IronMan commentary team allows me to combine my love of the ocean and my experience as a professional lifeguard with the opportunity to hone my skills as a television commentator and presenter.”
He makes his debut at the first event of the 2011/12 series at Surfers Paradise on Sunday, December 18.
