Ripping US drama Damages finally returns to Australian screens from Wednesday December 7th.
Joining the cast this season is John Goodman.
But it’s really all about Glenn Close going toe to toe with Rose Byrne…
This season consists of 10 episodes, which were produced for DirecTV after the first three seasons aired on FX.
Two years have passed since Patty and Ellen last worked together. Ellen reconnects with her high school friend, Chris Sanchez, who has recently returned from a stint at High Star, a private contractor in the Middle East. Unable to get assistance from the corporation or the government, Ellen decides to look into his case. Both her new boss and Patty warn Ellen about building a case against High Star Security Corp.
8:30pm Wednesday December 7 on W.

My friend and I (different houses) loved the series when it was first aired on commercial TV in Vic.
How many series were aired on commercial TV (not counting Gem, which did not exist when we watched the series) ?
Thanks,
Rob
I think it was 2 on Nine and 2 on GEM.
@wilmawalrus couldn’t have put it better myself, I will have to watch a few things I have iQ’d to ensure there is room for this great series, The writing and acting is what quality TV is all about.
This season was definitely the weakest despite my great love for John Goodman. Needs more Ted Danson.
This is out on DVD the same week it starts on W. Solid season, but Homeland is coving similar stories better. Season 4 is not as good as the first three.
It’s a solid season from this fantastic show and although good it will never relive the incredible heights of it’s first season.
Great set up in the last ep for the 5th season though!
I loved seasons 1-3, four was a little boring at times but it had a great final episode. Worth watching!
Excellent!!!! that will be going straight into the IQ programming 🙂
Any news on a possible FTA broadcast? I noticed GEM didn’t continue into S3 after showing S2 earlier this year, so perhaps I’ll be watching it on DVD before that time comes.
Isnt damages on W? I’ve seen the ads all over for it…
Great news, I can’t wait for this! I just hope they don’t delay the iTunes availability of it like they did season 3, that was very disappointing.
