  1. I actually liked the ending of Rush..

Just when you thought things were winding down.. ah wait.. there’s more. Sometimes not all loose ends need to be wrapped up..

  2. So glad to see the amazing race go to a nice country that they have never been to before. They should do more in europe, Can I just say if you get u turned and then u u turn a couple dont get cranky with getting u turned. Im talking about Bill and Cathy. She complained about getting u turned but did the same thing to the father/son team who got eliminated. Sorry she was just annoying me.

The shows will be winding down soon. Cant believe its the h&a finakle next week.

  3. Ratings wise, yes Rush has done poorly. But the show itself is one of the best Aussie shows on tv. It’s quality acting, scripts, great action and stories. It’s just a shame quality doesn’t rate in this country, and that networks don’t want to invest in quality shows. It’s rates poorly, but it’s better than anything else Ten has to offer. Was their #1 show of the night. Was a great finale, except for the final minutes. Don’t want the show to end on a cliffhanger like that, although maybe that means we can see the show resurrected. And also don’t want the show to end with Lawson and Josh over.

    • Yes unfortunately there was no clarity on a fifth season renewal at the time of production. So the final scenes indicated just another job to get on top of. I think if they had known it was the finale they could have packed a punch, as they have demonstrated before. I guess it’s not the first show to have gone out this way….

  4. Another very low Thursday night viewing wise. What’s the view on Rush’s last episode? Twitter was full of disappointed viewers venting at the ‘soft’ ending, though it could well have been written that way because at the time it wouldn’t have been certain if the show was heading into series five.

@David, is it possible to tell us what Crownies rated last night? Muchos gracias …

  5. The thing is, when people turn on the news, it ends up staying on that channel for most of the night. Ten start their news at 5 (that’s okay) but it goes for too long, only to be followed by a 1 hr project, which is good, but too much same old same old news for one night. By this time, people have switched off TEN, and if they don’t have a program at 7.30 that people will deliberately turn on the tv to watch, they aren’t going to get good ratings, and as are the rest of the shows on TEN most nights.
When you’re programs between 6-7.30 only rate less that 600,000 you can’t expect anything better than 800,000 for the rest of the night.

  6. As much as I hate that Rush got cancelled, you can’t really blame ten for not renewing when the ratings aren’t very good. If it had stayed around the 800,000 mark I think it would have been brought back, but some episodes this year where below 600,000. I guess thats not good enough.

  7. Hi

Can’t see the breakdown of each state Top 20 FTA because of the 2 boxes containing advertising – Hyundai and Intel. Understand sponsorship is necessary. Be great if we could have both somehow.
