  1. I’ve already watched all of Happy Endings up to it’s most recent airing in the US, but I’m glad to see it got a good audience – above TBBT too! It’s a fantastic show that only gets better so I hope people stick with it.

  2. bettestreep2008 you obviously know nothing about Guy to make a statement like that. He often acknowledges Idol, and still thanks the people who voted for him all these years later, and knows full well he owes his career beginnings to it. This is a little of what he said when Angels Brought Me Here was named the highest selling song of the last decade.

“Whenever Angels comes on I can’t help but feel a little dizzy. It definitely takes me back to my time on idol, which still today is a big blur in my mind. It was an extremely efficient and grand entry into the industry. The success of the song still hasn’t sunk in after 7 years.[…….] It doesn’t take a genius to realise that the
show was mostly responsible for the song’s enormity but still, I’m glad I was the guy standing there at the end singing it. I love the song, will never tire of it, and I love that my country has enabled me to keep doing what I do.”

However the fact he is still here after all these years, still making multi platinum #1 singles and Top 10 platinum albums when so many others have faded away into obscurity is because of the hard work he puts in and his talent. As for Reece, I think he has a good chance of having a successful career. He is no cave dwelling oddball like Altiyan.

  3. @chris I agree, I would love to see the NRL on Seven. I think that Seven would be happy with the figures for Happy Endings. I think maybe X Factor overtime may have helped.

  4. bettestreep2008

It’d be nice if Guy Sebastian acknowledged Australian Idol now and then.

If it wasn’t for that show – he wouldn’t be a celebrity millionaire.

Something the last 2 X factor winners will Never be.

    Does anyone remember Altiyan Childs???

  5. David, would it be at all possible to make the top multichannels primetime only? ABC2 childrens programming taking up 4/5ths the table more or less makes the table useless…. I realise its ultimately not your decision, but OzTAM’s… sadly

  6. Well done on Reece on winning. Also well done on Andrew for making the top 2. I had a bad feeling Johnny migh have got up. X Factor was great this year. I hope the same judges are back.

Happy Endings is a show I think I will continue to watch. I didnt mind it.
