Glee tribute episode to Michael Jackson
If you're only doing one Glee tribute episode all season then MJ is pretty apt choice.

There hasn’t been much in the way of tribute episodes so far this season but Glee will devote an episode to the music of Michael Jackson in the new year.
It will feature 10 to 12 songs from his catalogue.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy told reporters in October that there would be one tribute episode this season after some comment that they were overwhelming the heart of the show.
“It’s somebody who we’ve all been going after for two years begging them to do it and they finally said yes. And it was a really long rights struggle,” he said.
Glee has previously featured Jacko music with its post-Super Bowl episode staging “Thriller.”
“Man in the Mirror,” the Jackson 5’s “ABC” and Janet Jackson’s “Control” will also air this season.
Meanwhile in other Glee news, Star Wars’ Chewbacca will also make a guest appearance.
TEN will resume new episodes next year, currently screening repeats.

hmm and I thought it just got settled that a Grease themed episode is coming on up. And still they can’t write plots with follow-through…

This season of Glee has been pretty good. The first two episodes were flat but ‘Asian F’ focussing on Mike Chang and his dad was fantastic, and since then the show has improved in quality.
I didn’t find season two of the show bad at all, in fact I preferred it to season one. One of my biggest gripes about season three was how they spent a lot of time building up characters like Sam and Lauren only to have them disappear. Well, at least Sam’s back now. And Glee’s still one of the most entertaining shows on the air right now
Maybe one of the teachers can be in court for inappropriate dealings with young male students and the whole episode will make a lot of sense.
I never understand the tribute episodes.. why not just carry on and do songs that relate to the moment??

Next weeks new episode in the US is a Christmas-themed ep. So will they air that one out of sequence maybe, or leave that to the new year…?
the tribute shows is what killed this show for me – it was way too many – any excuse to get a special guest star e.g Olivia Newton John. Storylines and plots went right out the window.
Desperate bid for publicity and ratings since viewers are at the lowest level ever according to recent ratings.
A Michael Jackson episode was bound to happen. Look forward to it, hopefully it can lift this season cos i think it’s been quite poor. Song choices make a big part of the show and i think they’ve missed the mark with most song choices this season.

This will be a good one! Maybe Artie will get a song this year. He does a good Jacko.
