Larry Emdur on the US Price is Right

Earlier this year during Larry Emdur’s visit to the US he got to host a segment on the US version of The Price is Right.

The episode has just aired in the US.

Emdur told TV Tonight it was even the highlight of his career.

“Nobody else gets it, but the former host of The Price is Right to be randomly called out to be asked to host a segment of the American Price is Right was unbelievable. I’ll dine out on that story for a long time.”

As the clip shows, some spiels are just never forgotten to a good game show host.

  3. Seven management must be stupid to continue with Deal or No Deal. Having Larry back on ‘Australia’s Price is Right’ would be a hit ! Seven originally had the New Price is Right with Ian Turpie. It worked wonders back in the eighties. Following Larry’s last couple of stints at Nine during the nineties and naughties, the Price is Right would rise again under Mr Emdur. Bring back Larry where he excels!!!!

  6. Yer, Bring it back and replace Deal or no Deal with this, With Larry host, and him still hosting the morning show. I don’t watch Deal anymore because Andrew is so annoying and Deal is boring.

  7. Terrific-it’s nice to see Larry on the US The Price is Right. Don’t know if the US version is still on pay TV (most recently, early morning on weekends on Aren)

  8. Bring Larry Back but put him on 9 with Price is Right at 7pm.Those 2.5 Men/Big Bang Theory Repeats can’t last forever(For Christ’s sake it’s almost 2012)and as good as they are the logical replacement is a game show and keep those two for the non rating season.

  21. What the hell happened to Drew Carey????? Talk about an extreme makeover, if I didn’t already know that he was the host of the show, I wouldn’t have recognised him.
