US cop drama Southland, featuring Benjamin McKenzie, will return to Nine next month.
Season Three begins on 11:30pm Thursday January 5th, exactly a year after its US screening. The show has been renewed for a fourth season.
In other Nine programming news, repeats of Person of Interest will replace Survivor which wraps next Tuesday.
Nine will also replay Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer was Here at 8:30pm Wednesday January 11, presumably ahead of the other two telemovies to come…

I can’t wait for season 4, it’s such a brilliant show and the only “cop show” that I bother with
Southland. Love it!!!!
Before the age of digital channels, much of the new content on those channels would only be seen in summer, if at all.
wait a minute, whats with Nine… lately. first ‘The Middle’ which is usually first run on GO! gets new eps played on Nine, and now Southland which is usually on Gem gets played on Nine? what, don’t they wanna use their digital channels anymore for new content?
