US lawsuit against Jamie Durie dismissed

A lawsuit brought against Jamie Durie over the US version of The Outdoor Room has been dismissed.

A US lawsuit brought against Jamie Durie by US talent manager Lance Reynold has been dismissed.

Reynold claimed he was promised credit and compensation as executive producer on the US version of The Outdoor Room.

Reynolds’ companies entered into agreements with Durie in 2005 for talent-related services and both agreements expired.

Both of Reynolds’ companies were dissolved a number of years ago. The US District Court for the District of Los Angeles found an agreement did not even exist.

Judge Jacqueline Nguyen of the US District Court, Central District of California, ruled that Reynolds’ contract claims had no basis in law, nor did any of his other claims – and the judge then dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice.

The Outdoor Room aired on HGTV, based on the series Seven screened in Australia several years ago.
