  1. RIP Fordo, I really enjoyed your presentation of the nightly sports news on Seven National News from BTQ7 Brisbane, back in the eighties. Peter Meares, Pat Welsh and yourself made a great team, but I liked your light-hearted, friendly but professional style that shone above all. Cheers

  2. Did’nt know him very well at all but took him and a few Toowoomba Radio people for big night on the town back in the Mid 80’s and the big fella had a great sense of humour and loved a good drink.
Anyone who saw any of the early Eigthies Channel 7 gag reels will never forget that grin.
RIP and I hope you made it to that Big studio in the Sky.

  3. RIP Fordo. You will be remembered not only as a great sportscaster but an all round great bloke. It was a privilige working with you over the years. It truly is only the good that die young! Looks like I can blame you for anothyer hangover on Thursday.
