  1. When I saw the ad for this I just rolled my eyes. So basically they axe Video Hits, only to bring it back with a new name? Okay so sure their gonna have new entertainment segments and film reviews and new hosts and its on Eleven not ten….but seems like the same show to me.

I agree with Tasman, noone watches Video Clips anymore, thats why ten got rid of Video Hits- it’s called YouTube! ……even the younger kids, the 11 year olds watch stuff like that online so…….why do they need The Loop? Sony Bmg and the other record company’s are paying for this I bet, why else would they decide to make this show. What would be better than a show full of video clips would be a live show. I hated Rove and would not want that back , but the one thing it was good for was interviews and Live perfomances. (same kinda idea as the rebooted hey hey) We don’t have any talk show kinda shows in Australian, while in the UK and US they have several in each country and they are well known all over the world.

There aren’t too many places for bands and singers to get their face on theses days…. other than the morning shows, and who the hell wants to sing at 8.30 in the morning? Besides most of the people on them are signed to Sony etc. They need something at night for unsigned and Aussie artists. Just something more in that direction. This to me is more of the same, thinking audiences are stupid by renaming a show and trying to bring it back as something new. Its just Video Hits 2.0. Same goes for young talent time. Just trying to sail on a tread, that Xfactor/ Aus talent have had lately of Younger Singers being really popular as in Jack and Reece etc. Its just Idol crossed with SYTYCD? with a reused name. And the same station whos brang back Aus Talent, are the ones who axed Idol for poor ratings. Go figure.

  2. Great news. So glad to have music videos back on a Saturday morning. If it is repeated at 1030pm Saturday night: even better! Perfect time for clips before heading out.

  3. if they are gonna put that on, at least they could try to put something else on during the day saturdays and sundays like family movies or something instead of the same shows played during the week! like burning off Melrose Place and 90210 like Ten are doing with One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected.
