The trailer for the new Doctor Who game The Eternity Clock has been released.
It features Matt Smith’s Doctor and Alex Kingston’s River Song, carefully leaving out Karen Gillan’s Amy Pond given she is to exit the franchise.
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock comes from Supermassive Games and is set for release in early 2012, initially on PlayStation 3.
Two more console titles are planned for release later this year.

I’d Love a decent Who game at last. Please please please don’t be rubbish!!!
Its also coming to PlayStation Vita.
And game will flop, just like all other Doctor Who games
I remember the panning the Dr Who: Return to Earth / Evacuation Earth (on Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS) got when they were released. With any luck, the ps3 game will be far better.
@Nathan – generally the ABC airs them within a week of the UK broadcast, yes? Really looking forward to more of the Doctor 😀
@Brent, It won’t air in the UK till later in the year so it’ll be a while before we get it.
this looks good – even if it does look a little old school!
David, any word when new episodes of Doctor Who will begin?
A 2.5D platformer?
Did this game travel here from 1998?
