Entourage movie to come

Entourage will now become "a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness," says producer Mark Wahlberg.

Entourage is the latest TV series to become a feature movie.

Producer Mark Wahlberg told Collider he was busy with several projects, one of which is Entourage:

“Yeah, [series creator] Doug Ellin is hopefully writing that right now. And hopefully Pete Berg is writing the John Roberts movie which came from Cocaine Cowboys, and hopefully Ian [Edelman] is writing my movie with me and Justin Bieber. I’m waiting you know, just waiting on writers. I gotta start writing too,” he said.

The series ended in September after eight seasons, but is there scope for more?

“People were complaining that episodes were too short,” Wahlberg told GQ magazine.

“I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness–the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”

  1. As much as i love Entourage i think trying to prolong it will only sour it in the long run.You only need to look at the x- files to see that some things are better left as they are in their natural medium.
As for Ari i think it was one of the best endings they could of come up with – why spoil it?

  2. Definately keen for a movie but I want some progress, hell the last 2-3 seasons where the guys getting back to just being the guys there was very little character development or plot movement and when there was it was wrapped up so neat and tidy.

I shouldn’t complain and sound like a hater Entourage is actually still one of my favourite shows and even the episodes that eventuated to nothing were still fun to watch but some nice wrapping up would be nice – I want to see Ari in his new role and E finally decide what’s happening in his life.
