Molly Meldrum has left the Alfred Hospital for rehabilitation but is still suffering post-traumatic amnesia.
Meldrum has been in intensive care since his accident in mid-December, undergoing two operations.
He was taken to Epworth Rehabilitation for the “long rehabilitation ahead of him”.
In a statement his brother, Brian, said he was grateful for the care he received at The Alfred.
“As well as his physical recovery, doctors are carefully monitoring his post traumatic amnesia; and he continues to need minimum stimulation as part of that treatment.
“We’ll keep you informed of his progress and thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for your concern and love.”
