Meet documentary filmmaker, Phoebe Hart, whose film Orchids: My Intersex Adventure profiles her life and others who are Intersex -having biological attributes of both genders.

Or as she calls herself in the film, a “hermaphrodite.”

When she turned 17, her mother explained the true nature of her body and a family secret was finally revealed.

In this very personal documentary, she travels around Australia to meet other Intersex people and holds a mirror to her own experience.
