Season 24 of Survivor is known as 'One World' because the two tribes will share just one beach.

CBS has revealed the next batch of 18 castmates for Survivor.
Season 24 is known as Survivor: One World because the two tribes will share just one beach.
This is a show that always likes to modify its format, and this season’s tweak could ramp up the rivalries, but also lend itself to alliances from opposite teams.
When one tribe wins a challenge, the others will have to witness treasures being enjoyed right under their noses.
The Redemption Island twist is also out.
So far no returning contestants have been announced, so hopefully there won’t be any.
The contestants include a doctor, model (pictured), stand-up comedian, 2 lawyers (one of whom is gay), an ex-NFL player’s wife and a little person.

“(one of whom is gay)”…so what? I’m not sure the relavance of this comment? Once you make this distinction, you invite discrimination.

I regularly acknowledge most Reality shows with diverse casting because they reflect the audience better than dramas.
All new cast and one beach = Definite redemption for Survivor. Hoping this will wash the bad taste of the last two seasons away.
For some reason, ‘little person’ is the sensitive word for dwarves in the USA. Over here, dwarf is a perfectly acceptable term.
Is ‘little person’ the new name for dwarf? Should films be renamed…eg… Snow White and the 7 little people?

There *are* no returning players, I should say.
I am really glad to see there is no returning players, no Redemption Island, and that reward challenges are back. And I have high hopes for some of the more interesting looking contestants like Leif, Kourtney, Greg, Troy and Colton.
However, this has to be, on paper, one of the least diverse casts in Survivor history. They may be clapping themselves on the back for getting a little person, but most of the cast looks like they stepped right out of a Abercrombie and Fitch catalogue. Hope they reveal additional layers once the show gets going…

So excited for this, the cast looks great and i am so glad that Redemption Island & Ex Players have gone. Hopefully there is no more hidden immunity idol either. I am wondering the same as Ray.. when does this start here?
