Tracy Morgan hospitalised after collapse

30 Rock‘s Tracy Morgan was hospitalised in Utah after collapsing during an event at the Sundance Film Festival.

Morgan, 43, was rushed to hospital after falling unconscious following his acceptance of the Spotlight Initiative Award.

Both People and the Hollywood Reporter have cited sources at the dinner who say he appeared to be inebriated, but a spokesperson for Park City Medical Center said there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol in his system.

Morgan’s repesentatives also denied that the actor had been drinking that evening, citing “a combination of exhaustion and altitude.”

“Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false,” a statement said.

Morgan, who underwent a kidney transplant in 2010, recently parodied himself in an episode of 30 Rock in which he offends the gay community in a rant, causing Liz Lemon to brand him an idiot and writing an apology.

Updated: “Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn,” wrote Morgan on Twitter.
