Global Television appoints Director of Television and Commercial

Global Television has appointed Soames Treffry to the newly-created role, Director of Television and Commercial, responsible for client service, sales and new business initiatives.

Treffry has 16 years with FOX Sports, most recently as Director of the FOX Sports channels group. His earlier roles at FOX included Director of Specialist Channels, encompassing FOX Sports News channel and FUEL TV, and Channel Manager of the How To Channel.

Global Television CEO Keith Andrews said: “Our industry is rapidly evolving as new broadcast channels launch and distribution platforms proliferate.
