Gone: Dragon’s Den

ABC1 is getting an early start on programming changes this year (in fact this isn’t the first, but the others were minute or hadn’t affected programmes that had started).
It has pulled Dragon’s Den from the ABC1 schedule effective immediately and replaced it with repeats of UK Drama Whitechapel.
Last week the show averaged 169,000 viewers.
Thursday, February 23
9:30pm Whitechapel (Srs 1, Ep 1. rpt)
DI Chandler has been fast-tracked for promotion and is assigned a murder case that will look good on his resumé. Unfortunately for him, things don’t go to plan.
Dragon’s Den remains on ABC2 at 11:35pm Mondays.

Ok according to the guides on this website, ABC 2 is still showing the program on Sunday nights at 7.30pm
Still scheduled for ABC2 Sundays and Mondays. The change is just for ABC1.
Is ABC 2 no longer showing the program on Sunday evenings anymore ? They had just finished Season1 .
I seem to recall Australia tried a local series of Dragon’s Den, and that failed immediately too. A lot of intimidating people insulting your hard won idea doesn’t sound like entertainment to me.
I have seen the second series but missed the first so this is good news for me.
This could mean the new series of Whitechapel is imminent… if so, is good…
Just when I had commenced watching and enjoying it they have dropped it. Maybe if it had a little bit of promotion it may have rated a little better, and I hate to say this but it probably would be better with commercials thrown in to it to break up each contestant or would be entrepeneur. That way I think it would enhance the show, very much like the UK series of “The Apprentice” with Sir Alan Sugar.
