New boss for Today Tonight
Today Tonight gets a new Executive Producer from next month, with John Choueifate to take charge.

Producer John Choueifate will become the new Executive Producer of Today Tonight, replacing current EP Craig McPherson.
Choueifate, who has headed up TT‘s Melbourne office, will take up the role next month while McPherson will remai in a consultancy position.
McPherson will also work alongside news chief Peter Meakin on other projects.
“Craig was due a new challenge … He’s an incredibly highly valued member of the network and is contracted to 2014,” Meakin told the Sunday Telegraph.

Still wondering why TT fails to air in Port Macquarie…
I cant’t see a sudden change qaulity reporting anytime soon. TT has had a few exectutive producers over the years and the show has managed to maintain the same level of tacky sensaltionalist reporting.
Craig McPherson is also linked to a recently-signed high-profile Nine celebrity. I wonder if that is why the change happened?
New name, same schtick. Minorities on your toes (as if you weren’t already) as the stokes cheap shot squad sees no signs of letting up
Hopefully he gets a new set for the show. I know A Current Affair are have a refresh coming up on Monday night with New Set and Graphics. Hopefully Today Tonight will do the same thing…
