Advertising revenue for Nine and TEN dropped in the second half of 2011, compared to the same period for 2010.
Total revenue was down by 5% in all cities in the last six months of 2011, but Sydney still leads the spend with over $557m in television advertising.
Only in Regional South Australia was spending up, compared to the same period in 2010.

That’s a bit surprising since Nine had a much better 2nd half of the year…
Steve: Nine had a better second than first half yes, but in Revenue analysis we compare the same dates as the previous year, not the 6 months prior.
