Three’s Company women reunite and remember John Ritter

Three's Company co-stars reunite for the first time in 30 years and remember the late John Ritter.

Suzanne Somers and Joyce DeWitt, who both performed alongside the late John Ritter on US sitcom Three’s Company from 1977-1984, have reunited for the first time in 30 years.

DeWitt joined Somers on her online program, Breaking Through.

Their memories of Ritter were of their last meetings, his physical humour -and of him being “the horniest guy I’ve ever known.”

Ritter died during production of 8 Simple Rules in 2003.

Three’s Company was the US adaptation of Man About the House, but ran for eight seasons.

  1. Thank goodness Joyce has retained her original look – otherwise it would be two wax figures – is that Suzanne underneath all that? They were a great trio – so different to the British cast. I loved Audra Lindley and Norman Fell – they were great Ropers. John Ritter was very sexy – and evidently horny!

  2. 9 years it doesn’t seam that long ago.

It would be good if they could re-run 8 Simple Rule as well, actually with Kaley Cuoco I’m amazed Nine hasn’t picked it up for GO! or GEM. I agree Three’s Company would also be good for some classic comedy on one of the digital channels.

Interesting fact, Ritter’s last movie role was Bad Santa starting Billy Bob Thornton and Lauren Graham, Lauren is now staring in Parenthood and her love interest on the show in Jason Ritter, John’s son!
