Aaron Fa’aoso has pleaded guilty to damaging a cash register at a far north Queensland nightclub.

He briefly appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court today.

The Cairns Post reports Fa’aoso, 36, pleaded guilty to charges of drunk and disorderly conduct and wilful damage following an incident at The Heritage night club in Cairns on October 16.

Cairns is also the setting for The Straits, the series he conceived for ABC.

The matter was adjourned until April 23rd.
