Glee will produce a full tribute episode to Whitney Houston.
Following on from Amber Riley’s performance of “I Will Always Love You,” producers are now set to go the whole nine yards with an episode dominated by Houston songs.
“It’s using Whitney’s music as a way to say goodbye,” a source reveals. “A way to respectfully say thank you for her music.”
Kristin Dos Santos writes on E! “I’m told that unlike the show’s Madonna and Michael Jackson episodes, the Whitney tribute is more of a ‘character piece’ that focuses on Glee’s graduating seniors having a real hard time letting go.”
Lea Michele also tweeted: “Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one.”

Of course they are.
David – Any idea when we will see the Oprah interview with Whitney’s family?
Was expecting this to happen. Hopefully they do it respectfully. I can see the straight male characters being none too pleased to have to sing Whitney for that weeks assignment!
